OUR STORY

Our Past

She-tech was created in 2002 to offer women stylish, laptop bags and accessories. 

Having previously owned a custom clothing business and working in the tech industry as a web developer, I wanted to start a business combining my passion for fashion and technology.  I wanted more than just a job in a cube; I wanted to feel passionate about something. The desire to start a business from my love of fashion & technology was overwhelming and consumed my daily thoughts.

As I looked around at the women who worked along side of me in the tech industry, I was able to see that they had one thing in common: they all carried ugly, black, boring laptop bags.  This realization is what sparked the idea of creating fashionable, laptop bags for women.

Our Present

It’s been 4 years since I developed the first She-Tech website and announced to the world that “We’re in business”.  I’m amazed at how much we’ve grown since then – from our first collection of nylon bags in 1 style and five colors; to our present collection of chic, leather bags and accessories.

There is a saying that “A journey of a thousand miles begins with 1 step”.  Has the journey been easy?  Not in the least bit.  But, our mistakes in the beginning have contributed to our growth today.  Luckily, our growth has been steady and at a pace to allow us the room to grow and develop. 

Our Future

Our new business relationships with manufacturers around the globe, will allow us to develop a wider variety of bags and accessories.  She-Tech's main goal is to continue to offer products with fashion and function.

With a growing demand from our customers, we will expand our product offerings online to include, not just stylish bags, but digital and tech accessories for your home, work & play.  The additional product offerings will help She-Tech to develop into a one-stop shop for women who love technology.
