AWESOME BAG!!Jan 18, 2008 I love this bag! It fits the bigger sizes of computers with extra space for your battery/chargers/etc.!! You can also fit your own personal stuff with all the extra pockets and such!

Stylish and perfectly sizedNov 09, 2007 I've had lots of bad luck with computer bags and briefcases -- too bulky, too ugly, too small, too flimsy. You name it, I've tried it.
So I bought this briefcase in black (also tempted by the $10 discount and free magazine subscription) with low expectations, certain to keep it in as unwrapped condition as possible for the inevitable return.
The box I received felt light. I tried to shrug it off. I pulled the briefcase out of the box and it looked sleek and small. I wasn't liking the way this seemed headed. So I cut to the chase and immediately loaded in my 15.4" Sony Vaio into the padded sleeve and into the briefcase.
OMG. A perfect fit, an even looser fit if I simply used the semi-padded section of the bag. I held it by the handle and pumped it up and down a few times to see if it would feel flimsy. It did not.
But I have way more stuff than the computer, so I slowly started to load it all in: my portfolio, computer adapter and makeup bad in the main compartment, and my digital camera, my cellphone and wallet in the side pouch. I still had room. Amazing.
Do I tempt fate by putting in more bulky stuff? I did -- I put in a mini umbrella and a 16oz. bottle of water, standing them up on their tallest ends. They fit, I could still zip the bag shut, and still had room to spare.
Did I mention that I hadn't even used the two internal zipped compartments? And the footed bottom so the leather won't scuff? And the detachable shoulder strap?
I am in love with this bag. Love. Love, as in, I really can't afford to buy another one right away but am going to anyway and store it away. Love, as in, I want to buy one in every color. As in, I want to give one to every woman I've seen lugging fugly laptop cases, their sad shoulders slumping on one side.
Did I mention it was perfect?
