A bit pricey, but it works as advertisedSep 03, 2008
By Firas I have no complaints. The heat dissipation is fine, even better than when the laptop is on a wooden or plastic table. I love the velvet padding. It is not an ergonomical substitute for actually working on a desk with a mouse, but I found extremely comfortable when browsing/working on a couch (preferably with elevated leg rest). Not certain that it is worth the price. Overall, I recommend it.
Doesn't fit on my lap!May 10, 2012
By bluedot I'm 220 lbs, but I'm 6' tall.... and this thing won't fit on my lap. The part that is supposed to set on your knee misses it completely. I can only imagine if you are shorter or of the plump variety.
Perhaps it's due to a 17" laptop.... or a large belly, but, hey... we're not going there on this review.
Where's that RMA number?

Very uncomfortableAug 28, 2007
By Howard L. Keziah After just 5 minutes with this on my lap, my legs began to ache. The heat from the MacBook is preferable to this.

Overrated, OverpricedSep 18, 2005
By Krittiya The only good thing is it cools your lap and is convenient when you use your laptop on the bed or sofa like me, but that's about it.. It doesn't cool your laptop as advertised, just keeps the CPU temperature the same as sitting it on a desk.. not sure if it's worth $70.
