cute and funAug 06, 2010 its a fun, cute little clock that is loud enough to definitely wake you, but it has a button to turn the wheels off which kind of defeats the purpose off forcing someone to get out of bed in order to actually wake up and not just hit snooze.
Clocky is my friendJul 27, 2010 I have had a lot of alarm clocks break on me in the past few years, and so far Clocky is going strong! The sound wakes me instantly without being jarring. Clocky's noises are so cute, you can't be mad at him. This is the best alarm clock for someone like me who has a hard time waking up.
Love the Clocky!Jul 27, 2010 I am a deep sleeper and sleep through most alarm clocks. Clocky is loud enough to wake even me up! It is also super adorable. It is very small and fits well on a bedside table. The clock will go off once, and if you hit snooze the next time it goes off it will roll off your bedside table. He sounds like a little robot and the alarm is very loud. It is not as annoying to wake up to as a beeping normal alarm clock. The only problem is that it is tempting to hit the off button instead of snooze, but there is a "no snooze" option that makes the alarm clock jump off before you have a chance to turn it off. The time is also hard to see at times, you have to have the right angle on it to see what time it is. otherwise it is a very effective alarm clock. I haven't overslept since I recieved it!
best alarm clock everJul 10, 2010 I bought this for my 7 year old because he wanted to start getting up by himself. My husband and I like to go upstairs right before it goes off and watch him get out of bed and chase it around the room when it goes off. Hysterical. My son loves it too.

Louder than a rock concertJul 08, 2010 Sure, it looks innocent enough, staring up at you with its adorable robot grin. But inside the heart of Clocky, there is a malevolent force of evil.
Expecting to be woken up with gentle and cute computer sounds, I was instead blasted out of bed by a cacophony of pure screeching hatred comparable to the volume of standing right next to a launching space shuttle. NOT a good way to start off the day. My fiance startled awake and ran for the fire extinguisher. My cats, who sleep on the complete other side of the house, boarded planes to Mexico to escape the terrible roar. The entire city of Seattle experienced a 4.9 magnitude earthquake.
In other words, it is LOUD. Unless you are extremely hard of hearing or truly wish to become so shortly, this is not the alarm for you. We now only use it for decoration and occasionally to give the cats some exercise as they dive for cover.
